Which one are you!?!

Sometimes it weird how things happen. Things fall into place or people show up and you just never seem to understand why. Everything happens for a reason...you just have to find the reason. Everybody isn't placed into your life for GOOD. Meaning two things....they may not be there permanently OR it could be that they are there to teach you a lesson. To show you what you DON'T need in your life. These people tend to only be around for a short period of time. You might question the experience, but know that it's definitely something good to be taken out of every negative experience or encounter. See below. You have to look at individuals involved in your life or just in your life and determine just which category do they belong in:

Reason, Season, or Lifetime

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
When you figure out which one it is,
you will know what to do for each person.

When someone is in your life for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty;
to provide you with guidance and support;
to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend, and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,
this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON,
because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it. It is real. But only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons;
things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person,
and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

I've just come through a situation with a person I now realize was here for a reason/season.... Can it ever be both?? All the same, reading what you have laid out here, it's easier for me to accept that perhaps this person truly was never meant to stay part of my life. that this person was put into my life and has indeed fulfilled a need I had...which is true. I tell myself often that aside from the betrayal and hurt he left me with, he also left me with lessons that aren't only invaluable but enduring. ones that I finally got through my thick skull honestly... He made it so I had to take a long look at myself and decide that I needed a break from relationships and that I needed to do work on this woman and really allow myself the space to feel the weight of everything I've been running from and into the arms of waiting men who only added to the pain I had already house in my tiny broken heart.

I'm gonna take down that poem and refer to it when I feel alone and angry ...it's weird but even though I've heard it expressed that way a million and three times before, I never really heard it... I guess as with a lot of stuff in my life, I just wasn't able to receive it until now so thank you, again.

Its always hard to make a choice in life but you just have to believe that your decision is the right one at that particular season of your life. You can't look back. Each decision has a different journey.
